Heimeier
With its thermostatic valve, HEIMEIER has attained a leading position world-wide.
The K head is the bestselling thermostatic head in the world. In Germany, the largest thermostatic valve market of all, almost every second thermostatic valve installed in recent years came from HEIMEIER.
A great success story which began when Theodor Heimeier founded the company in the Westphalian town of Lippstadt in 1928. In the 1950’s the company started specializing in valves for heating systems. The tandem valve “Mikrotherm“ developed during this phase was the first great classic from HEIMEIER.
The final breakthrough came with the thermostatic valve with an incompressible sensor, corrosion-resistant gunmetal body and the “HEIMEIER adaptor“ M 30 x 1.5 presented in 1969. These three typical features have been retained till this day – a decisive reason for the triumphal march of the HEIMEIER thermostatic valve, which has also always been ranked first in product tests for the past 20 years. At the German testing institution, Stiftung Warentest, it was given the mark “Very good“ four times in a row.
Basis of success: the sensor with incompressible filling.
Apart from the thermostatic valves for almost all conceivable requirements – the current range contains more than 120 different thermostatic valve bodies on which the over 40 different thermostatic heads can be mounted – HEIMEIER offers an extensive assortment of actuators, room thermostats, special valves, manual valves and shut-off valves.
HEIMEIER belongs to the British group IMI plc since the middle of the 1990’s. In this constellation HEIMEIER has become a major global player on international markets as well. Today, more than 30 per cent of the product range for heating and air conditioning systems are manufactured for our export trade at the production site in the Westphalian city of Erwitte.
