In August TA oficially launched ner version of TA-CBI operating system (version PR4A.1). This new version of the TA-CBI software is to update the valve database with the ever increasing valve range from Tour and Andersson.

Additional versions
TA has also successfully launched a high differential pressure instrument, TA-CBI-HP that is capable of measuring differential pressures up to 10bar. Software for these instruments is also included here. If you have any further questions or require further assistance please contact your local IMI International or TA sales representative.

Please read this before you install this software in your TA-CBI:
Communication between your PC and TA-CBI will only be possible if your PC has the latest version of TA Select: TA Select III (TA Select II, version 2.2.12, will work but new products are not included). Please contact IMI International or TA to recieve you're own copy on CD.

You need an extension cable for changing the software in the TA-CBI instrument. Please contact your nearest IMI International or TA representative to recieve this cable.

The extension cable is only to be used for an upgrading of the software in the instrument. For transferring measuring data between your PC and TA-CBI, please use the normal PC cable without the extension!

To upgrade your TA-CBI, you need to connect the cables according to the picture below.

An additional feature of this new TA-CBI software is that it will automatically give you the option of using the TA-CBI USB cable (TA article number 52 197-071). The USB cable together with the special upgrade extension cable should be connected along with the power supply as illustrated in the picture below.
